Event Description

Conserving Australia’s birdlife has been a nationwide initiative for over 120 years, now under the care of Birdlife Australia. Through the dedication of its members, Birdlife Australia plays a crucial role to 'Save birds. Save life.'

Manfred Hennig, a member of the Birdlife Yarra Valley group, will introduce you to the world of birdwatching, the birds you can expect to see – including the Superb Lyrebird, Pink Robin and Yellow-tufted Honeyeater – and the best places to see them. Don’t miss this presentation of beautiful photography, matched with an informative overview of our local birdlife. Helping to conserve our precious native birds can begin in your own backyard.
