Event Description

Calling all parents and preschoolers! Do you have a child aged between 0–5 years old? Get ready for an unforgettable library session with the dynamic duo from The Speech Express. Genevieve Ward is an experienced paediatric Speech Pathologist and Director of The Speech Express, and works creatively alongside her amazing four-legged friend and therapy dog, Lincoln! With a career marked by evidence-based therapy in schools, early learning centers, and private practice, Genevieve is pioneering animal assisted speech pathology and deeply passionate about helping children and families build the foundations of literacy skills in a warm and supportive environment.

Genevieve will share invaluable tips on the importance of reading and how to promote speech and language development in preschoolers. Learn practical strategies to help your child thrive, and enjoy a special reading of one of this year’s award-winning books from the SPA awards.

Don't miss this incredible opportunity to engage with an experienced Speech Pathologist and therapy dog, bond with your child, and experience the joy of reading and learning together.
