Join Ella from Chooktopia, Anouk from the Knox Council's Waste education team and Ferntree Gully library and learn how to save money, waste, and the planet with some great tips on hosting kids parties without all the plastic waste.
Parents join us at the Library with your children for a special storytime, some yummy fruit snacks for morning tea and then stay for the 'How to host a plastic free children's party' information session where you will learn about
Low Waste themes eg under the sea
Low Waste Games/Activities
Communal or sustainable decorations
Giving ideas - experiences rather than toys, regifting toys etc
Gift themes - make it, bake it, sew it, grow it, upcycle it
Have a Fiver / Tenner party
Communal decorations
Home made decorations
