Join us at Healesville Library for a joyful morning celebrating National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day, in partnership with Oonah Playgroup and Yarra Ranges Council.

This year’s theme, “Little Footsteps, Big Future”, honours the journeys our children take as they grow—each step guided by culture, community, and connection to Country. The day is a chance for us all to celebrate the strength, potential, and identity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.

Enjoy storytelling, music, and morning tea in a welcoming, family-friendly environment. This year we will also feature "The Secret World of Food" interactive display, for you to adventure through the journey of food from farm to plate. Let’s come together to celebrate our children and support their bright futures.
