Painting your Relics Workshop

Event Description
Learn the basics of Oil Painting with local artist Liz Gridley as she invites you to bring a Relic to feature in your Still Life. (A relic: an item you have kept from someone who has died.) Using Water-Mixable oils (no solvent/turps required) we will use a monochrome palette and focus on light & shadow when spending time with our objects and creating a new form for remembrance.

Notes & Requirements
Please bring items that are A4 or smaller (max 30cm on largest side) if possible so we can all fit in the space easily together. Materials and tools will be provided, you will be supplied a box to take your wet painting home in (please note oil paintings take 3-6 days to become touch dry)
