Event Description

Come to a Japanese Bookbinding Workshop, where you will:
- Learn how to use the Japanese 4 hole (yotsume toji) bookbinding method to produce 2 books that you will take home,
- Gain an understanding of the design decisions bookbinders consider when creating a book,
- Learn how to incorporate additional Japanese bookbinding methods,
- Become familiar with the use of a variety of bookbinding tools, and
- Gain enough experience and confidence to repeat the book making process independently at home.

Throughout the workshop, you also will be introduced to a range of Japanese bookbinding styles and regional bookbinding differences.
