Event Description

Join historian Karen Thomas to explore the mystery of history's best-known serial killer. In 1888, Jack the Ripper terrorised a 2.5 km (1 square mile) area of Whitechapel, London. He taunted the police, and Scotland Yard was under pressure to find and arrest this monster. What started the murders, and why did they stop after the murder of Mary Kelly? Many theories have been raised, both at the time and over the years since, but are we any closer to solving one of the greatest cold cases in history?
