Event Description

Join Leanne O’Sullivan of Kimono House for an introduction to Japanese Boro. Learn ways to upcycle fabrics and clothing around your home via learning this Hand-stitching technique. Using a beautiful piece of vintage kimono fabric (provided) you will make a patch, pocket or drink coaster to take home. Leanne will provide everything you need for an enjoyable morning of slow stitching. There will be a Waste Education Officer from Knox City Council at the event too, to answer all your tricky waste queries.
