- How to grow and propagate them
- How to use them in everyday cooking
Julie Weatherhead, author of Australian Native Food Harvest: A Guide for the Passionate Cook and Gardener (Second Edition-revised) will conduct this workshop designed for keen gardeners and cooks wishing to grow their own native foods.
Julie has over 20 years’ experience in growing and cooking with Australia’s unique edible plants with her research focused particularly on the nutritional, environmental and culinary properties of these foods.
Come along, hear this engaging and knowledgeable speaker, and learn what our environment has to offer.
Copies of her book will be for sale along with a selection of native food plants and teas and spices. Cash or card accepted.
