Event Description

Learn how to support those over 50 with essential digital skills! We’re offering free, short training to help you become a Digital Mentor. In just two 2.5-hour sessions, you’ll learn how to support older adults and others in need with vital support in digital skills—from smartphones to online services.

All sessions will take place at Mooroolbark Library. Training will take place on June 5th and 12th, along with a follow-up support session on July 3rd to make sure Mentors feel capable, confident, and supported.

Let’s work together to help your community stay connected and empowered in the digital age! Click here to find out more and secure your place in the program.

Japara has been generously supported to provide the Be Connected Digital Mentor training program through the Good Things grant, to ensure everyone can use the internet safely, access services and stay connected with one other.
