Miller's Homestead
Event Description
Join us for this unique, fun, 4 week course for kids (ages 8-13) and their parent/caregiver.
Together we will explore our inside world (the body, thoughts, emotions) and our outside world (nature, relationships) using simple and practical mindfulness tools that will bring about greater sense of calm and ease (in body and mind) and connection (to self and the people and world around us).
Week 1: Setting the scene with awareness of the body through movement
Week 2: Calming practices using the breath and the senses
Week 3: Getting curious about thoughts and feelings
Week 4: Bringing awareness to your relationships to build stronger connection
About us: The qualified facilitators, Mandy and Mel, have been friends for years. They are both parents and long time meditators with a love for the great outdoors. They love sharing helpful tools to support families to live more connected to themselves, each other and the wider world around them.
