Event Description

Create a colorful beaded bracelet to keep or gift to a loved one, thanks to slow fashion label Collective Closets and the NGV teens program.
In this activity, the design duo has created a meditative and engaging workshop where teens can come together to create a colourful beaded bracelet which they can keep or gift to a loved one.

Melbourne-based fashion designers and sisters Fatuma and Laurinda Ndenzako celebrate the beauty and rich history of the African continent in their slow fashion label, Collective Closets. Founded in 2016, their designs feature vibrant prints and classic cuts to create clothing that celebrates both the artisans who create each thread and the people who wear them.
