Pathway for Carers

Event Description

If you are a carer of an older person, someone with a disability or a mental illness, join Pathways for Carers at Realm Library.
Carers will enjoy a walk together, commencing at 1pm for approximately one hour, before returning to the library for a cuppa and a short presentation by different guest walkers who will talk about the services and programs their organizations offer carers and the people they care for.
If you would like to listen to the presentation and have a cuppa and a chat with other carers but don’t feel up to the walk, feel free to arrive at 2pm.

Please note: This week our guest speaker will be Fiona Burridge from Maroondah City Council. Fiona is the new Community Wellbeing Facilitator and she will be joining us to talk about some of the wellbeing programs and activities Council is running for our community this year. This is also an opportunity for you to share your thoughts on future wellbeing topics you might like Council to focus on.

Notes & Requirements

Walkers please meet at the foot of the stairs on the ground floor of Realm. The walk is suitable for all fitness levels.
