Event Concluded

Event Description

Come and meet Inez and her crew of volunteers from the Central Ringwood Community Centre and learn all about how to find new and interesting ways of turning "one man's trash into another man's treasure", all while helping mother nature, one stitch at a time.

Inez has worked in the fashion industry most of her working life and has a passion for repairing and remaking clothes and all things textile. She will host a short presentation to explain upcycling in general, and she and her volunteers will demonstrate and guide you through a couple of mending/upcycling applications that will leave you feeling inspired and confident to try your new skills at home.

They will demonstrate practical applications and can show you how to use your sewing machine to achieve upcycle goals.
