Knox Repair Cafe - Sewing Repair Workshop For Ages 8-15 At Ferntree Gully Library

Event Description

Come to Ferntree Gully Library to learn fundamental hand-sewing skills and stitches, invisible seam repairs (ladder stitch), visible patch repairs and sewing on buttons.

This is a great opportunity to repair your soft toy or favourite piece of clothing. Assistance provided to complete repair.

Anouk from the Knox Waste Education Team will have a display with helpful recycling tips, and will be available to answer any recycling or circular economy questions.

Notes & Requirements

Each participant to bring an item for repair, eg. soft toy, clothing. Assistance provided to complete repair. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Booking required for children attending only.
