Design Your Own Bookplate

Event Description

People have used personalised bookplates for hundreds of years to keep their precious books from getting lost.
Drop into Montrose over the school holidays and design your very own bookplate. You can design one from scratch, or colour one provided by us.
We'll scan it for you in colour, so that you can print copies for all your books.
A copy of your bookplate will be displayed in the library for two weeks after the holidays for everyone to enjoy.

Notes & Requirements

We will provide all materials, but if you have your own special drawing tools that you like to use, bring these along.

There's no need to book your place for this event. Just meet us at Montrose Library.
