Every invention has a story, and every child can be an inventor!

In this hands-on workshop, kids turn a problem, need or desire from their own lives into something they can create.

Run by Girls Invent, 'My invention, my story' will connect kids with their powers of observation and innovation to create a prototype of an invention uniquely their own.

This session is for girls and gender-diverse children only.

Cardboard box for example cereal pack or brown box from supermarket Scissors Sticky tape Plastic screw lids from drink bottles Play-Doh or blue tac Rubber bands Empty Toilet rolls Clear fruit container such as for berries Blank A3 page/s to draw sketches or storyboard Coloured pens Drinking straws
