Terrariums were first popular in the Victorian Age and have enjoyed a resurgence in popularity, in part due to their suitability for apartment living, and “set & forget†style for busy garden lovers.
Come along and learn about the micro-climate of a Terrarium, and how easy they are to make and maintain. Robyn will suggest the most suitable plants, and types of containers from glass teacups to purpose-built mini conservatories. Lidded terrariums can survive for many weeks without care, making them quite self-sufficient and easy to maintain. A short powerpoint presentation will illustrate the variety of styles, which is only limited by your imagination.
